Born in California and raised in Texas, Michael Angelo combines his background as a writer with his passion for photography to tell your stories through the timeless practice of photographic journalism, employing a technique that Henri Cartier-Bresson famously called the “art of the found”.
When he’s not working tirelessly to provide the best possible photographs to his clients, Michael Angelo likes to travel the world with his pet dogs Bruno and Little Mike. Michael is also an avid reader, runner, and amateur novelist.
Having worked at several publications (including The Guardian, The Monitor, Pulse Magazine, The Pan-American, and many more), Michael Angelo is well-accustomed to high stress and tight deadlines.
That’s Mike in a nutshell. Now let’s get to know you.

Bio by Andrew Cardenas
“I really admire the quality of his composition and overall style.”
“Everything from the shooting to the editing was perfect, and we’ve recommended him to all of our friends since. If your husband chips his tooth the day before your wedding, don’t stress, you’ve found the one man in Texas who can fix it. Fix it with editing. Not literally, so if you’re looking for a dentist, this is the wrong page.”
“I’ve seen this man’s work. He is the true distinction between the eyes of an artist and eyes of a man. He captures the soul of a subject and conveys its story to all.”
Drop a line and let’s get to know each other!
